We recorded three fragments to show more different rhythms and use different articulations: an usual slow metal mix with strong velocity, a rhythm with toms, and a blast beat for extreme metal lovers.
We didn’t want to compare raw libraries because the sound and balance were too different. In all cases, we performed minimal mixing to slightly comb the drums to adequate overall balance.
