I would rather downgrade for this, I hate the new icons, I am sure it wont change in 3 years or so
What was wrong with the icons they used in the 90s? Seems like they have been going downhill for nearly 30 years.
I think the icons would be much better if they kept the old colors with the new style

These icons are look like it's rounded corners and the colours changing without border.
How to fix: get a .ico of the old icon>desktop>right clikc on desred pp> properties> customize> change icon.
I wonder what were they smoking when they approved on the idea
Indeed new icons suck. Bring back CS6 icons.
The rounded corners were ok, but don't get rid of the color!
I'm gonna change every app to 2019

I agree, every time I open adobe AE I always open Audition cuz there're the same colour!
You can chane them if you have a .ico file
Why did they change the adobe icon I miss the old adobe animate logo……but why adobe?

In my opinion, I've seen mainstream design devolve over the last few years from incredible creations with lots of detail and hard work behind them, to minimal loads of shit with a mountain of paperwork behind them detailing the "mindset" and "feelings evoked". While minimal design has its place and can be done incredibly well, I see a lot more garbage like this getting by probably because someone led with enough bloated feng shui bullshit that the non-designer higher ups paying the bills just bend over.
I complained to Adobe today regarding this.

Exactly, my first thought of the new icons was that I hated them. I've been a user of Adobe software since the very early 90s and this icon set is the WORST! Fix it!! If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Now fix it back!
Whew, I'm so glad I didn't update. Luckily though, the cloud may require updating my computer. I can't install the next iOS; otherwise, it will crash. Anyway, the apps are not distinguishable. As humans, we can easily recognize and interpret an object by the symbols and colors. I don't know what they were thinking, but this is not okay. I disagree with their approach. You know, it's Adobe, they think they are creative, haha.

It's terrible separating premier pro and AE projects in the same folder were a breeze with the color codes. Now they piratically look the same. WHY ADOBE?

i think they did that to support the black comunity and it's gonna go to the older one i guess
the colors on the creative cloud logo is for pride month
that's my opinion but still hate it cause you have to look into the apps for sometime before clicking it not like before you just know it's there
The company with the most popular and used creative suite completely ruined the design of their icon, ironic to say the least…
That end rant with the rainbow icon. I felt that. I'm with you dude haha. It drove me mad!
There's always a way to personalize the icons so it shouldn't be a big deal.

in a way it devalues the product, making it seem like they're using a template. adobe has really been disappointing the last year or so.
