Thanks for clarifying and rectifying the basics of using Fonts. The explanation given here applies to most every decent Mac text-editing app since Mac was introduced. Still nice to hear that Mellel follows the rules and manages fonts as expected. However… it would be even nicer to have this (or another) tutorial touch on the more complicated scenarios – designating language-specific fonts, making text composed of several fonts look reasonably aligned, locating and introducing punctuation and diacriticals, finding a font that contains what glyph you need, what about missing glyphs (you only discussed missing fonts). etc. I seem to fall short of explanations for Mellel behavior in these cases, although I'm one of the first users of the software, and have been teaching word-processors to others for years.
I find this feature both practical and intelligent.
unfortunately the font list doesn't show the appearence of each font; then we have to choose the font we need only with its name, which it isn't easy and comfortable
Mellel has nice Flexibility. Thanks for the video!
